Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee

Where we focus on putting our beliefs into action.

We Believe in ONENESS

All Hands In
All Hands In
“In practicing Science of Mind, we are called to see the divine in all things and all people, and in so doing, respect Diversity as the magnificence of creation in form; that it is Oneness expressed through multiplicity, which demonstrates as Inclusion. Inclusion is a demonstrated respect for and an appreciation and celebration of differences in ethnicity, gender and gender expression, culture, history, experience, talents, abilities, age, national origin, sexual orientation, education, economic status, social status, religion and any other individualized or group expression.”

Our Committee's Vision:

To celebrate our unique individual expressioins as we encourage and grow diversity & inclusion in our CSLTV community.
See God in everyone, and live our values of acceptance, inclusion, and respect.
Embrace Oneness as we celebrate our multi-ethnic & multi-cultural world.
Demonstrate divine love as we strive to "Be the change we wish to see in the world".

A Look at Our

Peace Pole Garden

Our Peace Pole Garden provides a place to rest, reflect and contemplate.

The garden was created and is maintained by volunteers who wanted a beautiful space to surround the peace pole.

Besides plants - succulents and natives - the garden has painted rocks, benches, wind chimes, twirly things (windmills) and garden art, as well as a birdfeeder.

Next time you're at the Center, stop by our garden!

CSLTV Visits Temecula REDI Commission in June

On June 12, representatives from CSLTV's Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee visited the Temecula Race, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (REDI) Commission at their monthly meeting. The Commission was celebrating Pride Month with a proclamation and several community groups, including a youth group from Great Oaks High School, and other CSLTV community members, attended to help them celebrate and support them in their purpose.

The Race, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Commission meets the second Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 41000 Main Street, Temecula. The purpose of the REDI Commission is to review and make recommendations on topics of diversity and inclusion within City events, services, programs, policies and enhanced community relations.
