Sunday Celebrations!

During these interesting times, we have some changes we’d love to share with you, Here’s a message from our Senior Minister, Rev. Dr. Katherine Economou from her newsletter sent on March 20th, 2020.

Hello Everyone:

I am reaching out to you today to let you know that in the midst of this challenging time, the ministers and practitioners of CSLTV are praying for you and holding you and your family in light.

We have been working diligently this week to put together not only a wonderful online Sunday service but other opportunities to come together via technology for connection and support.

First of all – our Sunday Service will happen as usual at 10:00 am this Sunday. We are shifting our meditation time to 9:30 – 9:50 am. Please use the link below to join us via Facebook Live. Just click the link and it should take you directly to our Facebook page where the Livestream will begin at 9:30 am and continue through the service.

Also – starting next week, we are launching our Spiritual Connection at Seven! series. Each day, Monday through Friday at 7 am and 7 pm, you will be able to get online with one of the ministers for a short 20-minute spiritual practice. There will be guided meditation, a short inspiration and prayer. I will be leading our Wednesday evening session where we will take a bit more time to check in, do some spiritual practice and share about how this experience is unfolding for us. I am so grateful for our ministerial staff for providing this opportunity for us all to stay grounded in our center of being and reconnect to the Spirit in this time when it can feel like we are all isolated. This is a Zoom meeting and the link is also below. You will be asked to sign in with an email and your name. If you have any challenges with this, please email me at revkatherine@csltv.org.

Most everyone on our congregant list should have received a call from one of our practitioners this week. We are checking in to see how you are doing and offering prayer and any support we can in this time of uncertainty. If you are in need of support, I encourage you to leave us a voicemail on the church phone line (951) 304-0268 or reach out to one of our Practitioners who would be happy to support you with prayer. Their contact information can be found on our website at www.CSLTV.org.

I will leave you with the following quote – may it support you in seeing through the fear of this moment and remind you that you are loved and cared for completely.

“I live in the faith that there is a Presence and Power greater than I am that nurtures and supports me in ways I could not even imagine. I know that this Presence is All knowing and All Power and is Always right where I am”
~ Ernest Holmes

Much love,
Rev. Katherine
