You are invited to join us for a new online class

Training for 21st Century Mystics, with Rev. Victoria Bomberry, Ph.D.

Do you yearn to go deeper than you ever have been before?

Join us in Training for 21st Century Mystics. This course is a deep dive into the human experience of the sacred. Each one of us has had a peak experience that awakens one to the desire for something greater – awe, and ultimately union with the divine.

We will have four guides from the 20th Century, including Black Elk, an Oglala Lakota holy man who lived during the most tumultuous change his people had ever known; Dorothy Day, one of the founders of The Catholic Worker who lived her life in what she called “The Reckless Way of Love”;  Etty Hillesum, a young Dutch Jewish woman who expressed profound mystical experience that she recorded in her writings and practiced in her chosen vocation; and Thomas Merton, the Trappist monk, social activist and mystic who brought Christianity into fertile dialog with Eastern Religions. We use selected writings from each of our guides, exercises that cultivate our inner mystics, guided meditations, and interactive training sessions.

In this class you will experience:

  • Teachings
  • Interactive training sessions
  • Experiential practices
